CUBE STEAK & GRAVY

Buy cube steak for number of persons eating. Peel & cook potatoes before frying cube steak.

Pour small amount of oil into fry pan and turn on medium heat. Flour, salt & pepper cube steak on both sides; place on heated fry pan. Brown on both sides, approx. 6-8 minutes. Remove and place on warmed plate; cover and set aside.

Start vegetables.

Put about 1 Tbs. flour into meat drippings; stir in. Add enough milk to make gravy the thickness you want. Salt & pepper to taste. Mash potatoes (after draining water) with 1 Tbs margarine and small amount of milk.
