Ross' Birthday - 2004

Rocke and I were invited over to Ross and Heather's home to help them celebrate Ross' birthday. We arrived at their home which was decorated with birthday balloons and streamers. Heather did a great job decorating the house and birthday table.

Grandma Bea (Heather's grandmother) was the first guest to arrive and was visiting with Ross and Heather when we arrived. Austin had a cold and was not feeling well so he was upstairs getting some much needed sleep. Heather's folks ( Sheri and Chuck), unfortunately (for us), were committed to another activity, so weren't there. Ross, Heather, Rocke, Grandma Bea and I visited until Ryan, Sarah and Zach arrived. It is always great to get together with the family so we can catch up with what is going on in everyone's lives.

Zach, Ryan and Sarah's little one, is growing up too fast. Before we know it, he will be walking around and playing with Austin.

Then it was time for the traditional singing of "Happy Birthday" and on to eating the cake and opening gifts.

After the birthday celebration, our attention turned to playing with and enjoying our grandsons, Austin and Zach. So much fun to watch the two interact. We think they will have lots of fun together as they get older.

After the party, Rocke and I stayed and visited with Heather, Ross, and Austin. Seems like our families are busy and we do not get to see them as often as we would like. We decided to go out to Old Chicago Restaurant and have some pizza together. What a great way to end the evening and Ross' birthday by having dinner with him and his family.
